Terms of Service

Eligibility and accounts

Swapr is intended for use by coaches and other adults managing sports teams. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you create a Pro account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

License to use Swapr

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Swapr app on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your own personal or team-coaching purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app except as permitted by applicable law.

Your content

"Your Content" means the team names, rosters, player names, photos, and other information you enter into Swapr. You retain ownership of Your Content. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to enter and store this information (including any player photos) in the app, and that doing so complies with your team's, league's, or organization's policies regarding player privacy.

For Pro subscribers, Your Content is synced to cloud storage solely to provide backup and cross-device access, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Content for advertising or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Swapr for harmful, illegal, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate activity. This includes actions that violate applicable laws, infringe others' rights, harm other users, or interfere with the proper operation of the Service.

Content standards

You may not upload or share content that is obscene, offensive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate, including images of minors used outside the ordinary context of team-roster management. We reserve the right to remove such content and suspend or terminate access to the Service.

Subscriptions and payments

Swapr's core rotation-planning features are free to use. Swapr Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store, offering cloud sync and photo storage for your rosters.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own policies, not by Swapr directly.

Any violation of these Terms, including misuse of the Service or uploading inappropriate content, may result in account suspension, removal of content, and termination of access, which may include forfeiture of the remaining value of a paid subscription period to the extent permitted by law and Apple's policies.

Disclaimers

Swapr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, and we recommend keeping your own backups of important information where possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swapr and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using Swapr at any time and delete the app from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You can manage or cancel a Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

Third-party terms

Your use of the App Store to download Swapr and manage subscriptions is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms regarding the license grant, App Store terms govern to the extent required.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable local consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will update the effective date above when changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
